FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Are my prices really changed permanently?

Yes. Saved prices and metafields are written directly and permanently to your Shopify store and cannot be undone automatically by the app. That is why PriceCalc Pro can create an automatic backup before every save and offers a restore with diff check.

How does the 5-step calculation work?

From the purchase price, freight gives the landed cost, handling and profit margin give the base price, a buffer (discount) gives the net price, and VAT finally gives the gross price. Each percentage is adjustable per product — or you use the simple mode with a single factor.

Does the app process personal data?

PriceCalc Pro processes only business data (products, prices, metafields) and no end-customer data. Settings are stored locally in the browser. See the App Privacy Policy for details.

What counts as an “action”?

Every saved product counts as one action — whether purchase price, calculation or autosave, individually or via “Save all”. Discarding changes and restoring a backup do not count.

Can I start small?

Yes. The Free plan is free forever and offers 20 actions per month with single save. You can switch to Basic, Premium or Unlimited at any time via Shopify — and cancel just as easily.
